I wish we had more appliances and electronics that are user-friendly to tinker and open up.

The TRMNL I bought recently for example was made for tinkerers, so it's trivial to open up and because it's literally just a small chip, a battery and an e-ink display, I could easily add a magnet somewhere there to make it stick to any metal surface.
